School Based Initiatives

Brownsville Think Tank Matters provides supportive services to schools in the community in assisting with safe and friendly engagement at arrivals, recess, lunch and dismissals. BTTM staff engages with students in group settings to conduct personal development workshops. BTTM also works with students individually to help them have a more productive time in school by addressing challenging behaviors.

Parent Engagement

In addition to student engagement, BTTM works with the school community to provide wrap around services to interested parents/guardians. Services include but are not limited to:

• Counselling Services

• Vocational Training

• Action planning to address child(ren) needs​

• Parent Engagement events​

Parent engagement services are available during drop-off/pick-up times, during school hours, after school, onsite or offsite.
